Privacy notice
This page explains what we do with the details you share on our website. We have tried to keep it short and plain.
Effective October 15, 2026. Last updated October 15, 2026.
Who we are
We are Already Caring, a private company operated by DeadPoetLabs LLC. We are not a government agency. This notice covers alreadycaring.com and the forms on it.
Our mailing address is DeadPoetLabs LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
What we collect and where
We collect only what you type into a form. These are the forms, and what each one keeps.
- Waitlist for families (home page, Michigan, North Dakota and Montana pages). Your email address, your state, and the link or campaign that brought you here, if any. If you give them: your name, your phone number, who you care for, and whether you already give this care unpaid. On the Michigan page we also ask whether this care is already paid through Home Help. We keep a "no" or "not sure" answer. If you answer "yes", we do not keep your details.
- Caregiver list (the page for caregivers). Your name, phone number, email address, and, in a short note with your sign-up, your town or ZIP code and when you could work. We also keep your Home Help answer in the same way.
- Professionals (the page for professionals). Your name, work email, your organization and role, and your phone number if you give one.
- Request a call or an email reply (the "Talk to us" form on the Michigan page). Your name, email address, how you want us to reach you, your Home Help answer, and any note you write. If you ask for a call, we also keep your phone number, the best time to call, and a record that you agreed to be called or texted, with the date and time and the words you agreed to.
- If you fill in the optional details. After you join the Michigan waitlist, you may be offered a short extra step. It asks for your county, who you care for, and what would help most. If you give a phone number there, we keep it only if you tick the consent box, and we record the time you ticked it. All of this is optional.
The short "See if Home Help could fit" questions on the Michigan page are answered in your browser. We do not receive or keep your answers.
Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address and the type of browser you use. We do not use advertising or analytics tools on these pages, and these pages do not set cookies.
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. We do not track you across websites, so we do not respond to it differently.
Why we use it
- To reply to you.
- To tell you when we open in your area, or when we start hiring.
- To understand how many people want help, and where.
Joining a list is not an application for Medicaid or any benefit, and it is not a job application.
Who else handles your details
We use a few companies to run the website. They handle your details only to provide their service to us.
- Vercel hosts our website.
- Neon hosts the database where we keep what you send us.
- Sentry is our error-tracking service. It receives technical details about errors on our server, which may include parts of the failed request, and a small sample of requests to our server for speed monitoring.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising.
Text messages and calls
We do not text or call you unless you agreed. If you ask for a call on the "Talk to us" form, you tick a box to say we may call or text that number about your request. If we ever text you, reply STOP to stop. You can also tell us to stop at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. Send the request through the "Talk to us" form on our Michigan page. Say in your note what you would like us to do. Please use the same email address you used before, so we can find your details. You can also write to us at the mailing address above.
Children
Our website is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Health details
Please do not send medical or health details through these forms. We do not need them to add you to a list or to reply. We never ask for a Medicaid number on these forms.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the new version on this page and change the date on this page.
